Verbena tenuisecta is commonly known as Moss Verbena. It is a tender perennial that is usually grown as an annual in cooler climates. It makes a marvelous ground cover or it looks lovely in containers and baskets spilling over the sides. Moss Verbena has violet flower clusters and it will bloom from late spring right up until the first frosts of fall. Moss verbena is a 6 - 12 inch tall annual growing in USDA zones 3 - 10.
