Henderson's Lima Bush Bean Seeds Compact, productive plants. The pods themselves are not generally eaten. Small, flat, green when fresh, white when dry. Non-genetically engineered. Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date, when soil reaches approximately 50 degrees F, sow seed 2" (5 cm.) apart, 1" (2.5 cm.) deep in rows 30" (75 cm.) apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every 3 weeks until July 15th. Harvest: Maturity 60-75 days. Can be canned, dried, or frozen. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, and vitamins A and C.
