Freesia is native to South Africa. It likes a warm and humid environment and requires sufficient sunlight, but it cannot grow under strong light or high temperature. The suitable growing temperature is 15°C to 25°C, and it is suitable for growing in loose, fertile, sandy loam soil. It is usually planted in artificial culture soil prepared with 2/3 peat soil and 1/3 fine sand. During the growth period, freesia requires sufficient fertilizer and water, and organic liquid fertilizer is applied every two weeks.
